Physical and Chemical PropertiesTiH2 forms a solid solution (TiHl. 8-TiHl. 99) in the Ti-H system, and it only exists stably in hydrogen atmospheres above 400 ℃ and above 0.1MPa. When the temperature is below 400 ℃, it actually exists in the form of TiH2 TiH solid solution. The hydrogen content of titanium hydride obtained in the Ti H system is always lower than that in TiH2.
TiH2 is a gray powder with a metallic appearance, with two variants and a conversion temperature of 37 ℃. The low-temperature stable state is a face centered tetragonal crystal system, with lattice constants of a=0.4528nm and c=0.4279nm 37 ℃ is a square crystal system, with a lattice constant of 0.4454nm. At 20 ℃, the density is 3.9lg/cm3.
